Job Interview Tomorrow.

I have a job interview tomorrow afternoon. Cue much woe and panic. I'm not feeling on top form anyway, and this is just adding to all my "cantdoitbecauseimcrapand rubbish" thoughts. It's part time work at a bingo place, just doing general stuff like reception and bar work, but the income along with feeling like I was paying my way would be welcome.


I've not done a non-care related interview for a *long* time. Years. I don't know how they go. I don't know what questions they ask and I don't know what I should be saying. I'm supposed to have been to the place for a look around, but haven't done that as I've only just decided that I'm going to turn up. I've swotted up a bit on the company and their key ideas, but don't really know what else to do.


I still don't know if I'll actually get there, but I'm going to aim to. Bleugh.

questions could be similar to care
why should we hire you
what are your strengths and weeknesses
what would you do if...

could you go a bit earlier and have a look round

sounds like you have done the biggest bit about finding out about the company tho

i am sure you will be fab just be the smurf we know and love

Just try to relax as much as possible. If they've offered you an interview they obviously like you
The advice I can offer is that don't feel forced to rush into answers, if you need some time to process it do just that, they wont mind

Interview experience is great - try and make notes after if you're able to to keep for the future? If you decide to get another job in the future you can refer back to the questions that were asked maybe .... ? xx xx

Well, I went. I remembered to shake hands and smile. I answered all of the questions as best as I could. He said someone would let me know either way on Monday, but he'll have done two whole days of interviews by then so I don't hold out much hope.


It's ok. I'm ok. Just got to stay ok.

I'm seeing a friend tomorrow. Sunday, I am handing out leaflets in the shopping centre for the local hospice, then I'm going for a meal as there's a family birthday. Busy, but I guess that's good as it's distracting. I don't know. I'm ok. And repeat.
