Zolpidem.
« on: March 13, 2012, 03:26:26 PM »
Supposed to start my first dose of this tonight. Apparently it has a short half life so will get me to sleep but I shouldn't have any problems getting up but, a psych telling me that is no the same as someone who's used the drug reassuring me ::)

Am I going to be too asleep to get up and leave the house at 7am tomorrow? I'm usually a fairly early riser and will be taking the med at about 10:30 tonight. Should I wait until tomorrow? Worrying ::P:

I read somewhere that American forces use this for pilots to sleep before they take off on missions etc so if tehy take it before something like that, then it should be ok. Plus its half life is like 2-3 hours.

Don't want to worry you unnecessarily (it's probably only me this has happened to!) but I had to stop this med as it made me hallucinate. I did find I was ok to get up the next day though.

Hope it works for you.

I struggled with this one. Made me feel drunk and I couldnt remember in the morning anything that had happened after I had taken it.

I got some sleep :D have woken up okay, I'm very sleepy but it's going to take more than one night's sleep to help me recover from months of not so I'm bound to feel tired. No hangover though :)
